??? She was behind the pickup towing the trailer by about a second. You keep your distance from other vehicles to keep from slamming into them or having them slam into you, and to avoid getting impaled by debris sent flying by vehicles ahead of you. It would appear that car insurance is incredibly expensive in Ontario since motorists haven't heard about the 2 second rule while driving urban streets or the 3 second rule while driving on expressways or RIRO stretches of road such as Highway 11 north of the 400.actually if she wasnt following 3 seconds rule she might have escaped altogether
She was only about 1 to 1.5 seconds behind the vehicle in front of her, had she been back 3 seconds she a) would have had more time to react (not that it probably would have changed the situation markedly) and b) since the wood started off on the left edge of the road and ended up in the middle of the car it likely would have missed completely.actually if she wasnt following 3 seconds rule she might have escaped altogether
Yup. Just went and read the article: "came upon two trucks — a flatbed and a truck towing a mobile trailer — engaged in what she called a dangerous game of “cat and mouse” and holding up traffic."Rule # 2 - No texting while driving.
Rule # 3 - Do not video with one hand while driving.
