Another stupid iPod question.

I did a quick search couldn't find the answer.

I was at my buddies house and I had my ipod. He had a bunch of tunes I wanted. So when I hooked my iPod to his PC it didn't sync but erased all my tunes and added his. Something about 2 library names and only one per iPod? So I have my iPod and I'm take it home to try and sync again and it says it will delete all of the songs on my iPod.

Is there a way to do this? Keep all the ones on my iPod and sync it to my PC or another PC?

Set the iPod to be used as a drive instead of syncing. It's much easier. You just drag music to it like a flash drive. To delete, just delete the song. With syncing, you have to deselect the songs in itunes you don't want copied. If you try and listen to music on your PC through itunes it won't play those deselected songs.
