Anyone been to Antigua in the islands?

I was thinking of making a trip in June. What is a cheap, no frills airline that goes down there...

So far, I looked at Aircanada (about 1000 w/taxes) and BWIA ($900)....anybody ever go down there recently for a lesser price?

True, it is a very beautiful island. Rent a car and drive around the island is 22 miles long. The island has 365 beaches, one for every day of the year.

yes the island is beautiful..but on the north coast you will find that the water is somewhat murky at times..nice quite island..worth taking a day trip to st. kitts, st. barths or one of the other closer outter islands..great place if you like to sail though..plenty of wind to fill the sails!

thanks for the info.

only reason I'm only looking for a cheapy ticket or airline is becuase I have been offered a place in Jolly Harbour by a friend who now works in the UAE.

I thought there might be cheap charter flights to this place (similar to Cancun or Cuba).
