Ha, ha, ha. A mall in Detroit? Heck theres not even a major supermarket in the city. Bars and strip clubs yes, a nice place to buy food for your home, nope. Detroit is coming back with restaurant's and hotels but they have a long way to go. No big name chains are in the city...expect car dealers.
In Dearborn theres Fairlane mall, closes to the city but theres much nicer in Troy and Novi--with Troy being busier and they have Saks, Nordstrom. Take I-75 to Big Beaver-thats 16 mile rd but in Oakland county they use names not numbers--dumb.
Oh, if you look at a map, you see Woodward av. runs right in to the upscale Oakland county area but take the freeway, not Woodward av...unless you are brave and want to see the intercity..its not pretty.
