government reports that teaching spots filling up but if i go to teachers college in september i think i'll still have a shot at getting a full time position in hamilton/toronto area

opinions/ comments?

Try becoming an ESL teacher. The demand is high right here in Toronto. The credentials are much easier to come by. You could be in placement within your first six months of a coop program. The pay is lower but still about 80 percent of an accredited teachers salary plus benefits once you become full time.
