Anyone feeling a bit chilled today!

I sat down to get the latest up date on one of the longer running threads in this forum at this time, essentially a generation vs baby boomer thread with a few exceptions,and 'wth', it's locked. I felt it was going smoothly with some valid points being made. Apparently others did not. It will be missed

Some of the longer threads threads are funny, others take off in strange directions, and then suddenly: They disappear!!!

I find it annoying when the longer running threads get locked or disappear.

No idea what to do about it. Any suggestions?

In this case, size doesn't matter. That can happen in the shorter threads, too.
