Anyone know if TSN3/TSN4/TSN5 will be carried on Rogers cable?

I spoke with no fewer than 3 Rogers representatives this week and they seem to be clueless and not have any information on this. Does anyone know if Rogers cable subscribers will have access to TSN3/TSN4/TSN5 which launch this Monday. I have the Rogers VIP package at the moment. I hope these Rogers people dont put TSN3/4/5 onto a different package to force me to pay even more money.

I think Bell held off on Sportsnet One for a while, so I imagine Rogers might play tit for tat for a while. I can't imagine what TSN is going to carry on those channels anyway. Hell, TSN2 is already full of Amazing Race Canada, Poker and CFL repeats. Maybe they are going to start showing TSN Radio all the time, like Sportsnet 360 almost seems to do. One thing is for sure, they aren't adding these channels because they don't expect to charge more for them at some point though.

On the Bell guide it looks like at least on Saturdays they will be showing a lot of US College football. Not a surprise considering ESPN owns a small percentage of TSN

I have shaw satellite and I accidentally found TSN 4 today. Sports center for the two minutes I watched it. They must have something in mind, it can't be just trying to keep up with the "Rogers" or can it?

I don't think it is a coincidence that TSN3/TSN4/TSN5 is launching the same day that the US Open starts. TSN has received complaints in the past about them leaving the court-to-court ESPN tennis coverage to go to matches involving Raonic and Bouchard. They left Fed/Gulbis in the 5th set at the French Open to go to the start of the Raonic match which made zero sense. From what I have heard one benefit that these additional channels will provide TSN is the ability to show multiple matches at once. They will be able to give viewers more options in terms of what matches or feeds they want to watch . This clearly isn't the ONLY reason TSN is adding these channels but it is ONE of many reasons. I know during the US Open and presumably during the other majors as well TSN will use multiple channels to air matches. So now viewers will have the choice of what match they want to watch or if they want to stick with the ESPN coverage which is picked up by one of the TSN channels they can stick with that.

The channels are listed as such ...

TSN 1 . Pacific
TSN 2 . NATIONAL
TSN 3 . West
TSN 4 . Ontario(most of)
TSN 5 . Eastern Ontario and Atlantic Canada

If understand correctly we in Toronto will at least get two TSN channels, 2 and 4.
I do not know if we will get 1, 3, 5 and whether we will have to pay extra.
