That thing looks sweet, between that and the S2, tough choice.
It actually looks much faster than the S2, if that's possible? wth? The thing just flies between pages, application scrolling, damn.
Can't wait to see what they'll come out with in a year when I'll probably get a new device.

Don't like the plastic body of the S2 and this looks like it may have the same feel to it, small price to pay, can't have it all.

Other then ICS it's pretty much the same spec as the S2... and these phones are HUGE!!! I prefer to stick to my 4" screen.

It has more than 50% additional screen resolution...

The only letdown for me (other than the plastic) is the camera being a step below the S2.. the S3 will be kickass for sure.

That was why I made the post about the S2, the screen is huge, but after reading the replies and seeing them in person, I think I could deal with it. lol
Surfing would be ridiculous on it, so nice.

Until I absolutely need it, I'm gonna hold off for another year, like Power just said, the S2 will be kickass.
Shit, maybe I'll even get an iPhone (lol..if I get bored of Android) if most websites drop flash as their driving force behind their sites (I mean like 80%+ flash free sites lol)...and can't forget widgets (only use 2) but it's nice having them around...and if I can tweak the iPhone (customize it)...then maybe.

I'm not a fan of the plastic bodies, that's where the iPhone4 really does it for me.

hat's why I don't get TOO caught up in resolutions, sometimes the differences are so incredibly hard to notice or see, it's trivial. I'd have to see it side by side to notice.

A couple of friends have the S2 and they love it. That said, I'd wait for either the nexus or something that's designed for ice cream sandwich. That way you'll have something with on screen buttons rather than hardware based/or permanent screen ones.
I'm getting a nexus myself for sure however.

I read a review yesterday from an apple fan (he's not an android hater so he was objective) and he said that the screen felt good and wasn't clumsy as he expected. I imagine it's because the bezel is so tiny that almost the entire front is screen.
You wanna talk huge, check out the samsung note!

I think if you use widgets you can fit more of them on your homescreens or have them display more information. Video, news reading, PDF's etc will all benefit too. They mentioned ICS was designed with the higher resolution as standard.
