Apple had a pretty good week last week, new service and product categories as well as an iPhone refresh. If pre-orders are any indication the iPhone 6 will be a hit, a record 4m pre-orders on the first day, twice the previous record of 2m for the iPhone 5.

No surprise iPhone 4 and 5 fanboys with screen envy are pre-ordering the 6. Apple's years behind other manufacturers in offering a 5" (actually 4.7") screen size. Must have been driving them nuts having to wait so long. Hell, even BlackBerry introduced a 5" screen a year ago. lol
If only releasing a bigger screen resulted in higher demand, Blackberry market share would be ripping.
What apple does they do well - but cutting edge they aren't. Their technology strategy seems to be see what innovations gain traction before putting their weight behind it. Needless to say they'll make money off it.
On the other hand, I do recall some apple fans bashing features on other devices (NFC payment?) that they now praise on apple.

I would love to get some user feedback about the Apple watch. As I mentioned on another thread, a friend of mine got a Samsung Gear and was very disappointed with it. He loved the functionality but the problem was battery life. He needed to get a full day on a charge and the watch generally died before his shift ended.
Apple has determined that NFC chip in a phone is effective and they are including it in the iPhone 6 models - you are a few months behind on the Apple rebound catch up to the current technology. Great news for new Apple iPhone 6 users - sad for those forlorn iPhone 4 & 5 users who thought they were buying the latest technology and now find themselves behind Android phones available at the same time.
