Hey Everyone,


I've been seeing allot of these popping up here and there in GTA. The thing that bothers me the most is that how does the people who buy these things know if they are real or not?

I tell ya with technology now they can replicate packaging so well it will fool a none trained eye. I really feel sorry for the people who is paying 500-600 for an Iphone and later down the road they find out it is a fake and the going rates are 200-300 new.

Again how do you know what you're buying is Genuine?

All the clones I've seen marketed so far look so cheezy in comparison. Plus the software on them is nothing like it. Most people I know who have bought them went down to an Apple store in bufallo and paid $399.

Though there is no unlock available yet for the phones that have been for sale for the last month or so.

Exactly, I was in Toronto on Business and I can't tell you how many times people came up to me and asked me if I wanted to buy Iphones. I took one look at it and used it for a sec and I can see the lag in the software when using the different apps in it. I played along with them for abit but what they were asking was funny.

I just feel sorry for people who don't take the time to look over the phone before you fork out their hard earned money, especially around this time of the year.

I was recently offered to purchase 2 Apple Iphones Unlocked with firmware 1.1.2 for $480.00 each. That is if I buy two of them.

I have an iphone and i love it! it is more a "small computer that happens to also be a decent celfone". The ability to add applications [such as GPS like capabilities and wifi sniffers etc] is very good and very useful.

BUT....

the lockdown for the ATT network is a problem. [relatively easily solved].

its been a while since I've written software in machine language but i find that the iphone is a good little device for development. Expect to see some interesting applications soon. [over and above whats available now].
