Yep, they're into the FA Cup semis now. Good recovery by the Gunners after crashing out of the CL (again !!!). They played pretty well without Henry. I think Bolton were over confident that they could get past Arsenal since their record against the Gunners has been great this season (1 victory and 1 tie).
El-Hadji Diouf is such a nut-job. He's a good player but has the mentality of a teenager. Good thing he got sent off after lashing out at the Arsenal keeper. All his spitting incidents, fake diving, and cry-baby attitude has overshadowed his soccer skills.

Diouf's underacheveing and constant running into trouble are an absolute disgrace and as a Liverpool and Celtic supporter the end was reached when he spit on Celtic supporters at that UEFA cup match, to a Reds fan thats the equalling to spitting on your own brother

Newcastle is starting to look like a team of destiny.
If we dont't win I pray that ManU doesn't.
Wenger will have have some money do some shopping this summer and our young players are developing well, so at least the future looks great.

I cant see Arsenal overtaking Chelsea next year as much as it pains me to say it...Chelsea has infinite amount of money and will get anyone they please, Arsenal doesnt have that luxury. Arsenal should dump Ljunberg or Pires and go after Rosicky. Also, it seems as though Sean Wright-Phillips could be headed there...I dont think goalkeeping is as a big a problem as their D is. When Sol's out they stink, when he's in their so much better...
Whilst not a Man U. fan they do have the advantage that they can put out an almost all British team unlike the other clubs at the top. FA Cup Semi-Finals
The FA Cup semi-final draw just got announced. Those who were looking for a ManU vs Arsenal match will be disappointed. The first semi-final is between ManU and Newcastle, and the second one has Arsenal and Blackburn.
I wouldn't be suprised if Newcastle knocked off ManU since they are playing great at the moment. Arsenal has a much easier tie against the Rovers. Anyway, Arsenal and ManU will definitely go on full assault since the FA Cup is probably their only chance for some silverware this season unless Chelsea screws up real bad.

Arsenal has had to rely on non-English players due to the higher cost of English players relative to foreign players. ManU and Chelsea are in better financial position and are therefore able to buy better local talent. That said, if the Gunners can hang on until new revenue streams come online from Emirates stadium, we will be in good shape. In the short term if we can land Shaun Wright-Phillips and get Michael Owen (lose Reyes since he wants to go home) we will be in fine shape. But of course we need to improve the 'D', but I think that's doable.
The good thing for the visitors [in this case United and Rovers] that these ties are played on neutral parks. In the past they have used Villa Park and Old Trafford but I thought I heard that the semi-final ties and the final will be played at Millenium Stadium in Cardiff.
Having to go to St.James' Park would give me nmore nerves then Villa Park or Cardiff. That said, should be a good tie but we will prevail!

Arsenal
Arsenal's defense needs to improve and they need a more reliable goal-keeper also. One of their biggest problems has been letting goals in from set-pieces. It's a good thing their mid-field and attack usually compensate for their lack of depth at the back.
I read on soccernet that Wenger will be getting about 30 million pounds during the next transfer window. Hopefully, he will be able to bring in some good talent for next season.
I agree. They should trade-off Reyes for Michael Owen. Reyes is a good player, but he's constantly talking about how he would love to join Real Madrid. It's not good for a club when players openly admit that they would like to play elsewhere. Arsenal has had their hands-full this season with other clubs making approaches towards their players .... the Patrick Viera and Real Madrid saga before the season started, and then the Ashley Cole and Chelsea saga.Big Michael said:
