Yes, I concede that there are many good reasons for indys to employ the services of an assistant to sort through the mountain of e-paperwork they deal with 24/7. But I also must note that it's startling and disconcerting, to say the least, when you receive a pro forma reply from an assistant to a personal e-mail you've written to a favorite you admire and respect, with little faith that your bons mots will be seen by the intended recipient. Expectation and desire are the twin engines that drive this demimonde, and this just snuffs out both of them. There can be no touch without the personal touch. At least for me.

It's precisely because people send missives filled with bon mots that an S.P. needs an assistant.

For sure. But a periodic note, like one every 6 to 8 months from someone who lives far from TO, as an expression of enduring interest for whenever the next visit occurs....well, to have that thrown on the pile benefits no one.

Again, you are only one but we deal with many of you. To you it seems like no big deal and if you were the only one then it wouldn't be but you are not.

I work only part time and I spend hours doing admin work weekly. It is not just replying to emails but bookings appointments, screening, posting ads, updating websites, etc.

This doesn't even take into account actual working time or prep time for appointments. Doesn't include normal daily life activities, personal life jobs or commitments, etc.

There is only so much time in a day. So some outsource.

Plus it allows for a professional boundary where by the escort can just focus on the job part of it and not get engulfed by the multiple and many "occasional" emails from others just like you.

If you know she has an assistant then just don't send the email. I know and understand that you would like to and in a perfect world it would great if you could do that but sometimes you just can't and have to learn to accept that.

No, I had no idea she had an assistant. Have dealt with assistants before and found them all very pleasant and helpful, as was the one who replied to me. Just is.....best to leave it right there

This should be taken into account by the johns that allow themselves to be screened to the point of your personal information being shared not only with the provider but also her assistant. Things go wonky with the provider and the assistant, you now have another reason to be slightly worried but hey, to each their own.

Why not have your assistant make you an appointment with her assistant.

While I appreciate Jess' point, we customers are just as busy as the sex workers are. Please remember that too.
