I've been a safe and good driver for almost all my life without any accidents and tickets... My only fucking tickets were like a $110 for a burned out headlight (no point dediction though) and some parking... I can proudly claim that I am one of the safest driver on the road, and yet even if I drive really fast I put safety first and I know how NOT to get caught. I've been driving economy cars all my life, and my family is never into anything fancy as they drive stuff like the camry, accord, intrepid... I've owned stuff like the jetta, civic, my first car when I was 16 in Vancouver was a cavilier, currently I am driving a sentra... Because I live in Waterloo, I assume my insurance bill is going to be cheaper than many of you folks in GTA... Not to mention that I've passed 25 with a perfect driving record.

Today I started looking on the internet, I am looking into some fancy stuff, bascially a new car and my next car with some "kicks" to it. First off the bet, I have a question, do Mitsubishi sell their EVO version in Canada? I am also looking into Subaru, Acura and some of those sports cars with a price tag on the lower end, any good suggestions here?

But there is one big concern, if I get one of those "race cars", how big of a jump am I going to get on my insurance bill? In my situation, or in other ppl's experience here? I am just trying to get an idea here so that I can have better planning financially... Afterall, I don't HAVE to get a sports car, if it's too expensive, I might as well go back to the economy cars and save a few bucks for hobbying and other stuff.

We have several companies in the US that offer quotes over the internet. Why not check to see if there are any in Canada that do that. Should take you 20 minutes or so.

OK, so does that mean the subaru WRX wagon has cheaper insurance than the WRX sedan? And an accord 4 door has cheaper insurance than a 2 door? By saying that I am assuming the 2 comparing pairs in here has like the same engine, same price...

All I know is that I use State Farm, which is available in both the US and Canada.

Used them ever since I was a teenager, and now that I'm older, am very pleased with the rates and service.

I just got my bill recently, and it didn't go up, even though I got a speeding ticket last year.

the 2 door will cost you more than the 4door, as the 2 door is considered as a sports coupe, also how old are you? are u married or single?, all this will be considered by your insurance company, even if they dont tell you , but in the back ground doesnt matter how safe of a driver you think you are, its how responsible of a person they think you are .
