The report is ready:

The United Nations Palmer Report on the 31 May 2010 Flotilla Incident, to be published officially Friday, found that the Israeli commandos who boarded the Mavi Marmara on route to the Gaza Strip were met with "organized and violent resistance from a group of passengers," and so were "forced to use self defense." Nine Turkish activists died aboard the ship.
Grog/flub didn't care that when the IDF and their videos said that the 'activists' had planned to and resisted violently, the activists videos showed they planned to and resisted violently and now the official UN report finds that they planned to and resisted violently

As to the usefulness fo the flotilla,
The report harshly criticizes the flotilla organizers, stating "they acted recklessly in attempting to breach the naval blockade". It added that ” there exist serious questions about the conduct, true nature and objectives of the flotilla organizers, particularly IHH.”
They also found that the IDF responded with excessive force but note that it is responded, there were no assassinations from helicopters.

The UN also notes that the blockade is legal.
The Palmer report determined that the Israeli naval blockade on the Gaza Strip is legal, as "Israel faces a security threat from violent groups in Gaza."

I'm sure that grog will just focus on the things the report criticizes Israel for while ignoring any wrongs done by anyone else.

What everyone had been saying all along. The only thing in the report critical of Israel appears to be that they think less violent means should have been tried up front. In every other respect the UN has vindicated Israels lawful search of the illegal flotilla.
