Actually, a brothel implies prostitution, I would guess it's just a free-for-all and it's the one thing I really envy the gay community for having. I think the closest thing we will ever have are swingers clubs.

I envy gays big-time. My belief is that it is a lot easier to get laid as an average gay guy than an average straight guy. At a bathhouse, it is highly likely that all the hot guys will fuck someone, perhaps mostly each other. But in a singles bar with hot girls, in my (limited) experience, most of them are going to go home and fuck nobody. Just google on some of the gay clubs available in Toronto, they have way more going on than straight clubs. Yeah yeah yeah Hunter if you read my statement you'd notice that I said from the POV of accessibility to sex. OF course there are many problems such as acceptance by the general public (which I obviously do not envy).
I agree that HIV is a concern as well. But I think us Hets are going to catch up with them in this category in the sense that I find women are not that strict about asking for the use of condoms during intercourse. Heck I've even offered to use condoms and been denyed..... mind you I'm only basing this on two recent encounters. The woman prior to these two worked in the area of sexual health so she was very adamant about the use of condoms and STD testing.
As for ease I only have anecdotes from gay friends but they seem to have an easy time getting it when they want it. Some stories even involve going on chat sites when they are horny to hook up some action. I have to go onto dating sites and go on several dates before I get a sniff of sex..... and trust me if we are talking batting averages I would have been sent down to the minors and traded for a bag of balls and tape..... and that trade would only go through if the team was low on equipment.
