Battlestar Galactica - "Razor" Question

Okay,

I've been watching Battlestar Galactica's "Razor" a thousand times. I watch it a little different as I cut out on my HDD a few scenes and trimmed others (like the first shooting scene on Cilla (I cut to the Fisk return phone call, the entire Adama 1st Cylon War thing with the old Cylons where the Columbia gets destroyed (I have those SPFX somewhere else), and a portion of the young Cain's family getting all shot up on Taurus).

But my question is, why is there a bad edit in the kitchen between Kendra Shaw and Starbuck? I didn't do that edit. Did it record wrong? The scene is when Shaw is about to shoot up, Starbuck catches her, they have this conversation and Shaw and Starbuck agree to keep quiet about their "secrets", but Starbuck is holding the needle. The next shot, the needle is on a tray and Starbuck is out of the room? Did Scotty beam her out?

Is there a scene there missing, or did my DVD Player's laser tone arm skip the DVD up a bit? Anyone? Galactica fans?

I think he just missed about 10 seconds of video.
"Keep my secret sir. I'll keep yours". (I think Starbuck has already placed the needle on the tray. You don't really see when she put it there.)
Starbuck turns around, has a swig from her bottle as she walks out the door. The scene changes to the XO picking up the needle from the tray and putting the cap back on.

Mmmm. So there was a skip playing in the "unedited version". Oh man... Can't stand that.

Still the best episode ever written. "You hold onto that anger and keep it close. It won't make you afraid next time and it will tell you what you need to do. Lietenant, button up." FRACKING KILLER CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!!

And I didn't remember Michelle Forbes (Admiral Cain) was Lt. Roe in ST: TNG either. Oh man, my fracking brain cells!
