BSG Season 3 on DVD has been scheduled for release in North America on 18 March 2008. Dunno why it's taken so long (season 3 on dvd is already out in Europe and Australia) but at least it's finally coming!

Now if only the writer's strike will end so we can get season 4 done!

Season 4 was done before the writer's strike. The weak US Dollar is the prime reason for the DVD delay (more money based on currency rates releasing it in Europe and Australia, we're talking big fat cat distribution companies).

Remember, Admiral Caine was a lesbian.......OH MY GODS!!!!!!

That's not accurate. Only 8 of the 20 season 4 episodes were filmed prior to the strike, plus the 2 hour Razor movie.

From wikipedia:
According to SciFi Wire, the SciFi Channel has ordered 22 episodes to be made for season four, an increase from 13 as originally announced. It has also been stated that season 4 will be the final season of Battlestar Galactica. Production of the new season began May 2007 and SciFi plans to begin airing in early 2008. The 22 episode order consists of 20 episodes which will form the fourth season. These episodes were preceded in late 2007 by a special 2-hour television movie titled "Razor"[3], which comprised episodes 21 and 22 of the 22-episode order.

Only the first ten episodes of Season Four (Razor is considered two episodes) were filmed before the 2007 Writers Guild of America strike halted production of all scripted TV shows. The final scripts of the season were not complete and production was temporarily shut down. As a result, the actors were placed in limbo, bound by a contract, but not paid. This may put the final episodes in jeopardy since the show could shut down completely if the strike continues.

Oh well, that's right. less than half. My bad. In episode Razor, the phrase "knock it off Hudson" was said twice. Let me guess, Ummmmm "ALIENS"?
