assuming that one wishes to move to a place where he can afford to create a family with a local woman 20 years or so younger......what is the best place???
Cuba? Thailand? Dom Rep? Costa-Rica?

I've seen it in Cuba, and it was a dream come true for a guy. He was a 60yo former teacher from England, she was a local 25yo doctor, very good looking even by local standards, and they already had a 1yo kid...
To have this in England he would need millions, probably tens of millions. In Cuba he was able to do it on a pension.

please, share your stories/views/experiences...I think it's a pretty serious issue for everyone except those of us who is ok with fucking older women

There's a lot of places for a guy to retire: Thailand, Philipines, Colombia, Peru, Belize, Costa Rica, Vietnam. The living is inexpensive, (per year shouldn't run you more than US$20K) the girls are plentiful (hell they adore short guys over there), food is good and the weather is warm. You'd probably have to pick up a little bit of the local language but that wouldn't be too difficult.

Thailand or Costa Rica are the best places if you need 1st world medical care. Just be careful about the girls you choose to settle down with and don't buy any real estate.

what will be your minimum annual expenses in Thailand or Costa Rica if you want to have say 1 kid with a young good looking local woman?
why no real estate?

$20K is 5% from $400K...that is easily within reach for many of us...isn't it to good to be true?

Belize....if you don't mind dodging hurricanes

Besides worrying about hurricanes, Belize sucks BIGTIME when it comes to hobbying....

How to Retire Comfortably for Under $1,500 a Month

By Kathleen Peddicord – Tue Aug 10, 2:41 pm ET

Jason and Elizabeth Pearce moved from Canada to Belize three years ago. They bought a piece of property on the sea. A year later, they built a house. Today, they live in a beautiful Santa Fe adobe-style home with gardens all around.

The pair lives very comfortably, without wants or financial worries. They've had no trouble making friends in their new community because the folks in Belize speak English. They eat out three or four times a week. They barbecue lobster and filet mignon at home. They have reliable Internet to keep them connected to the outside world. By choice, they do not have a television. "I used to think that the news was important," Jason explains. "But not anymore." The retired couple has a maid and a gardener, each of whom visit once a week.

And here's the best part. Jason and his wife are living on their Social Security income alone. In fact, they're living on Jason's Social Security income alone. Elizabeth's Social Security check goes into savings each month.

Everyone's spending habits are different, but here's a sample monthly budget for a couple living a comfortable expatriate lifestyle in Belize:

--Rent: $300

--Utilities, telephone, and Internet: $500 (Your biggest expense in this country.)

--Groceries: $150

--Health insurance: $50

--Entertainment: $100

--Car expenses: $300

One of the most appealing things about Belize as an overseas retirement choice is that it can make sense even if you're nowhere near conventional retirement age. Through Belize's Qualified Retired Persons program you can establish foreign residency as young as age 40.

Belize is a beautiful little country. It's a peaceful, eco-tourist retreat home to more than 540 species of birds, 4,000 species of flowering plants, and 700 kinds of trees. Nearly 40 percent of the country is protected as parkland and natural preserves. Belize boasts the second-largest barrier reef in the world. This incredible underwater resource teems with colorful fish, coral, and unusual marine life, making the waters off this country's coast a fisherman's and diver's paradise.

[See 6 Reasons to Retire Overseas.]

Despite all these natural attractions, Belize has managed to remain largely off the world's radar. It's a small country of about 350,000 people. It's also a young country, having gained independence from Great Britain in 1981. There are a lot of market niches waiting to be filled. Living here, you'll discover that life can be not only super affordable, comfortable, and adventure-filled, but also full of potential.

Retirees in Belize are finding many interesting and sometimes lucrative ways to fill their days. Lara Lennon moved to Belize from Philadelphia in 2006 and developed a luxury swimwear line, Lemon Crush Belize. "Sitting on a friend's porch in San Pedro chatting about this and that in our tropical lives, I realized something: There existed nowhere in Belize a place to shop for dress bathing suits, the kind glamorous enough for a beach wedding or special enough for a honeymoon," Lennon says.

Living costs in Thailand

Girls from Thailand looking for marriage

The best hospital in Thailand - now taking in Americans who fly there for medical treatment.

Look up internationalsexguide info and stickmanbangkok for more information about living in Thailand.

Generally I'd refrain from buying because of land title issues (foreigners can't own land so there's some complicated legal shit to do if you really want to own property) and construction quality. And if you need work done, cost goes up once they see you're not local. Better to have a landlord at your beck and call to fix stuff.

Bottom line: Canada is only a small part of the world. If you can't find your haven here, save like a motherf*cker and make it somewhere else.

PS...A lot of Canadian women look like crap after 40 anyway. Check out the local Walmart if you doubt what I'm sayin'.

PPS...It's tiresome to have someone run your life, which is why I would never marry Canadian. Or North American anyway. I once watched a guy in Best Buy who had to ask permission from his wife to buy a TV, like he was a 10 year old begging for candy. F*ck that. In Asia/latin america, a man is still a man not a eunuch. And we're looked upon as leaders, not potential paedophiles.

Nah, you're short, it doesn't matter where you go women will still want a taller guy.
Maybe go to Antarctica. You can become King of the Penguins.

Yes, but average male height in other countries can range from 5ft 3 (Philipines) to 5ft 6 (Thailand) (#s from wikipedia) ...thus cute-bald will be considered taller (and another plus he's white) .... so he'd do *very* well over there.

BUT? Is there a large population of single available women in Belize?
If there is, then no need to hobby? Correct?
After perusing this site some hobbyists report the local available ladies are rather underwhelming.....
