I would've post this in the general area but I wanted it to be specific in cambridge. So I'm looking to join a gym in cambidge. looking to meet some orientals if any go to the gym.

i guess it depends on what you are looking for. I've been a member at the YMCA for about 3 years. To me it has the best services. If you get a private membership, it includes access to the steam room, hot tub and sauna. Not to mention they have squash courts, indoor running track and a Gym. Plus all of the usual weight machines, free weights and cardio machines.
As for meeting asians.... I have seen a some very hot asian women there. I dont know if there is enough of them to make you join but there are defintely a few sexy ones.

the ymca is one of the best gym in cambridge but during the summer it is packed and a little pricey.... fit for life on hespeler which is now ultimate fitness is pretty nice, it's going through changes, i checked it out, there are lots of machines, it's going to offer boxing classes & mixed martial art classes, not as much people as ymca... for meeting women well the ymca would be the place

I have been a member of the Y in one form or another for over 30 years. I travel throughout the province on business and it's great to be able to pop in for a quick workout or even just to have a place to have a shower before an evening meeting... business or pleasure.

I stuck about 20 Y addresses in my Palm for the cities I frequent most... comes in handy!

I've been to the y in the past, kinda quit working out for a long time. When I was there, always seemed crowded and all these kids running around. Was considering bodyquest, its been there for awhile now, although its in a bad location and I've heard its majority of muscle heads that go there.

when i first moved to ONtario 6 yrs ago, the Y was technically my first gym...for some reason, i lvoed it...everyone would smash the place, but i felt so comfy there...pool, sauna, gym, cardio..its got it all...and unfortuneatley, it has alot of kids and people that are not there to work out...to advance my bodybuilding lifestyle, i had to make a choice and leave there...

for the recreational person who is not into hardcore bodybuilding, the YMCA is quite accpetable (4 out of 5 stars)

Body DEVELOPMENT: not long open, near christoper dr and champlain, its new, which is also scary as its not a proven success. it has decent weights, not overly huge, nice carido and somewhat decent showers...not a huge gym atmospehere, but its what you make of it. 2.5 out of 5

BODY QUEST: suks...too many "bell-heads", and machines are so cramped together... 2.5 out 5

fit-4life: now being renovated...cant comment on this one

BLITZ 4 men: stay the hell away..comeplete joke, i could make this gym up with $350 and a trip to a zellers liquidation event... .5 out 5

POP-EYE's: even though in kitchener, it is the gym of gyms, 24-7 different floors of varying gear...awesome stuff... 4 out of 5

hope this helps somewhat...lord knows it brought back some awesome emmories form the Y...lol ;)
