You should get 119 instead of 110 if you get the PPV events like UFC Boxing WWE on channel 455 and HBO A&E ESPN FOX plus you get a lot of good Sirius radio channels

Any idea where I can find 119? I thought I read somewhere that I would have to nudge my dish a few inches to the west from where BEV is. I tried that with no luck. The trouble now is that I mounted it on some sort of bulk head, in the middle, so I can't swivel my dish to the west more than a few inches till it hits the wall. Then I tried hoisting the dish and trying to find DN just by holding it and hovering it around, and nothing. (I'm a schmuck, remember?)
Now its so fucking cold, I couldn't be bothered to go back up on the roof. So maybe I'll just find a buddy and we can split a BEV bill. And I don't care about ripping off Hell Canada... they've ripped me off enough times, it's payback! They keep raising their prices and decreasing their services.
110 & 119 are both located to the Right of Bell, when viewed from behind the Dish. They will also be lower down in the sky, so move to the right and down a few degrees.
I aim at 110/119 and 61.5 for the HD, working just fine.

The problem is not where you point the dish but the receiver you are using. I might hazard a guess that you have a Viewsat Ultra. On the forums it say you have to manually program the channels.
Have yet to find simple instructions.

I do have a Viewsat Ultra... and in the antenna setup... it actually shows you the sat you're pointing at BEFORE you do any set up... at least thats been my experience. Cause I was able to find other sats that I had no idea what they were... but not 110 or 119
Not all the transponders on 110 and 119 are used for DN. The default transponder in the Viewsat sometimes isn't an active one. You might have to manually pick an active transponder to do the dish pointing.
Once the dish is pointed correctly, then run your scan like normal.
I just did the switch to DISH after B3v went down.
Move your dish a few inches west, adjust the skew to 116 and the elevation to 36 and make sure your sat post is plumb.
I run a straight cable from the lnb...switches never seem to work for me... and only hit sat 110.
I get about 350 channels, all ppv and adult.
Works well even in the snow.

about 40 are Spanish channels And about 125 are local PBS FOX ABC NBC CBC and Religious channels from different US citys
Yes you do get more PPV movie channels
Also 110 does not give you channel 455 if you like watch PPV sporting events the night they are happening
if you have to pick from 119 or 110
119 Sat does offer the better channels

anyone select the local channels feature for like Buffalo and get pretty well all get cities across the US!?... Way too much Religious mumbo jumbo...alot of guilty persons in them there there parts!?

I actually get 386 channels of which, 200 I might actually watch.
20ppv, 7 adult, 30 various movie channels
and tons of Fox, CBS, ABC etc...
I find I get a better quality signal on 110.
More than enough for me.
