I like the Rock, but I'm bummed he's doing a remake/sequel. To me, BTiLC should be left alone.

Those Hollywood writers running out of ideas and did this all time.
I saw the new "Papillon" in September. Biggest disappointment ! The book was one my favourite in my younger age.
I didn't like the first Steve Mcqueen version either, but it was ok. But this new piece of crap made me very sad. Poor Henri Charriere the original Papillon is spinning in his grave now. They totally changed that amazing story for an unwatchable shitty movie. It got 7.1 and good reviews on IMDB. I just can't believe it. Those who wrote that reviews, are never read the original book. It took more than 2 hours from my life and I'll never get it back.
