The first day after the regular season is the time that NFL teams assess the performance of their club and decide if the Coach has lived up to expectations or if it is a time for change.

Some Coaches I feel will be let go and perhaps end up in greener pastures...

* Andy Reid: I'm surprised some whacko in Philly didn't plug you during the regular season. Your "Best Before" date has long expired and it is time for the city of brotherly love to have a new leader.

* Rex Ryan: That staple in your gut has worked for you, now it is time for the Jets to put a staple in their gut and remove you asap. How you could keep Sanchez in week after week amazes me...maybe the fat surgeons put a staple in your brain at the same time they stapled your gut...

* Chan Gailey: Anyone who wants to spend time in Buffalo deserves some sort of credit, but numerous house fires aside - The Bills have sucked, still suck and will continue to suck under your leadership. Get out of Buffalo before your house burns down.

* Romeo Crennel: You have had a team implode on you and a player who went ballistic. You even sucked running the Browns. Ownership needs to click their heels together three times and send you packing with the next wind storm.

* Jim Schwartz: How could you possibly fuck things up so bad with that talent base? Lions have a tendency to eat their young - Time for you to be eaten.

* Ken Whisenhunt: That 4-0 start was amazing, considering you beat the Pats in their own house. How on earth did you manage to squander that momentum? Doesn't matter now though, time to wisely hunt for a new job.

* Norv Turner: You really need to hold seminars on "How to be a Total Fuck-up". With the talent you have had year after year, you somehow managed to show the world how you can fuck things up. I cannot believe that the ownership in San Diego put up with your inept leadership these past few years. Time to take a break and maybe do a few Clearasil infomercials.

Stop sugar coating it and tell us how you really feel :)

Nice one REF! But you have to add Jason Garrett to that list!
I will give him another chance - Romo blew the game with that lame interception at the end - And it pissed me off because the 'Boys were covering the spread at 3.5 at the time. Another ten yards and the Skins would have settled for first down and run down the clock!

Give Dallas a new QB and things will be different - Tough division though.

Interesting Stat - Washington was the team that went from worst to first this year. The NFL tends to have teams that make those leaps...

Sorry Ref, I do not agree with you! Yes, the injury bug did bite the Cowboys. However, IMHO the "boys' seem rudderless. Romo tries to whip up the team but i'm not sure everyone is buying into it. The tv shots that i see of Garret remind me of a deer caught in the headlights. I do not recall the game but situation was Romo was running a 2min offence. I can honestly say there was no urgency in getting down the field, in fact the offence wasted a lot of time & made crucial mistakes in a game they could of won. In the same game, neither Romo or Garrett failed to call the time out when clock was ticking (the announcers were also scratching their heads!).

Were they charged for two time outs or just one?

I loved the game where Garrett iced his own kicker and it worked. He made the first one and missed the second one, which was the one that counted.

I heard Jerry Jones said he's thinking about doing something "unconventional". Rumours are Norv Turner might be forced on Jason Garrett. I could see Jerry throwing the bank at either Saban, Gruden, or Cowher.

No coach with any cred would work for the most meddling owner in all of North American pro sports regardless of $$$. Norv has lost most of his cred.

the first order of business for the cowboys owner is to FIRE the GM......ooops , that would be himself!!
he plays college ball and wasnt even very good...and he thinks he can be a Gm in the NFL..he is and will always be an ass..until he finally puts a football person in charge

Hmmmm....Haley interviewing for the H/C job in Arizona....
Never liked Haley.. too high on himself...seems he forgot that it was the players and not him that made him famous...and in demand
I'd like to see schurmur in a O/C...great mind..and with the tools he would have with the Steelers...it could be top 10 offense in 2013
Andy Reid in KC.....interesting
