I've been using the Z30 for 6 months now. I have tried almost every model they released and this is the best one I've experienced so far, good battery life, no issue with any app, excellent camera and video quality, the only complain I have about it is the frequent pocket dial (called 911 a few times in my pocket). I eventually had to set up to use the lock button to unlock which requires an additional step to unlock the phone but got rid of the pocket dial issue. Chargers from previous models (Z10, 9700, 9730, etc.) work on the Z30 so I have a bunch of extra chargers, no need to spend extra money on the charging pad.
Agree, I love my Z30. Other nice features to mention, expandable memory up to 128 GB, fast browser, nice OS, good speakers, excellent call clarity, FM radio which doesn't require data or WiFi connection, micro HDMI port, great battery life, one of the best typing experiences of any phone which learns words you commonly use and even where you tap each character for improved accuracy.
The other feature I like (not sure which other phones have this) is a red LED notification light at the top of the phone to alert you of new texts/emails/appointments/missed calls etc. so you don't always have to wake up the phone to check for new messages if you've been away from your device. Also super easy to back up with BlackBerry Link software in case it's lost or stolen. Mind you, nobody would want to steal a BlackBerry in the first place. lol
More on the keyboard here.

Although the resolution specs. on the display aren't as good as other phones, when I've shown pictures or video to iPhone or Android users they've always been surprised by how good it looks. Usually followed with "wow, that's a BlackBerry? Really nice!"
Strange that you've pocket dialed a few times. Only happened to me once and that was because I put it in my pocket without putting it to sleep first. I called the last number dialed and not 911.
Looks like the Passport is designed for a specific market. Excellent if you do a lot of work on spreadsheets.
Don't know about wireless charging pads but it has really good battery life and I'm usually not far from a charger. I also have a backup battery which I take with me if I have the need to charge my phone when a 120 V outlet is not available. The wall charger will charge it from 50% to 85% in 1 hour.
The other bonus is you can probably get one for free with a 2 year plan with Bell or Rogers. Can't beat that!
