I just got home from my first blind date in YEARS, and actually had a great time. We met online (cue the flames) and we swapped emails for a few weeks and have been talking for a week or so. I think we clicked, and we have plans to go out again next week.
The reason why I'm posting this, is because I've had TERRIBLE blind dates - and I'm just wondering if anyone else (I'm sure you have) would share their horror stories...and just for good measure, if you've had a great one, feel free to comment/share accordingly.
I'll start.
I met another girl online years ago through one of those "friend finder" services - no, not the adult one. She sent me a pic, I sent her a pic, we emailed, we talked, and we decided to meet. I offer to pick her up (she didn't drive and lived in the sticks) and before I could get to the door, out the door she comes. Same face...but honestly, 150lbs. heavier than the "recent" pic she sent me. We went to a Jays game (I think) and I did enjoy her company. We never went "out" again, but have since become pretty good friends. I guess that's a good/bad story.
