Having done business with the USA for the last few years, I have found that for the most part, Americans are very good at sticking with the motto, "business is business". It is actually Canadians that personalize business. I think we will find some nuisances in regards to our stand about the war with Iraq, i.e. longer border crossings, a little tougher stance during negotiations, etc. but overall I think things should normalize. IN fact, potentially, if our politicians discuss this properly (I know..I know not much a hope in hell of that happening) We should be able to show that our refusal to fight in the war with Iraq, yet keep our committments in Aphganistan and in the rebuilding of IRaq, has nothing to do with being friends, just a disagreement of reasons and most particularly the timing of this war.
