Brian Flores sues NFL, Giants, Dolphins, Broncos claiming racism in hiring process
Flores says that Bill Belichick texts show that the Giants knew they were hiring Brian Daboll while he was interviewing with the team
Agree. But suing the NFL and numerous teams won't help his case for a job.You know everybody should be granted equal opportunity.
Put the best people in the jobs that they apply for at every level.
Fans want to see winners period.
Yes, but if I pay $1 billion for a football team I want to be able to hire whom I please. If Brian Flores doesn't like the way I run my team he can buy his own.You know everybody should be granted equal opportunity.

The Rooney Rule :It doesn't look good that the Giants had already made their choice prior to interviewing Flores (Belichek congratulated the wrong Brian) but were evidently still going to interview him strictly for appearances.
On March 10, 2021, Smith was hired by the Houston Texans as their associate head coach and defensive coordinator under head coach David Culley, marking Smith's first time in the NFL since 2015, when he served as head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.[49Whatever happened to Lovie Smith?
I heard this morning, that for head coach, it is 2 minority interviews. Co-ordinators are just 1.The Rooney Rule :
The Rooney Rule requires teams to interview at least one ethnic-minority candidate when hiring a new head coach. It also (now) requires teams to interview minorities for general manager positions as well as women for some front-office positions. It continues to evolve.
What makes you think the NFL doesn't do that? Why is this so hard? In any corporation, when HR runs a job search and goes down the interview path, they always document the details of the interviews along with the qualifications, positives and negatives of the candidates. You'd think the NFL would smarten up and document WHY any candidate they interview formally did or did not qualify for the job. That should be the fact baseline upon which they can explain why any candidate was or was not hired. The color of their skin then becomes a moot point. They were either qualified or not.
"quite well spoken"In an interview today, in which he was quite well spoken, he said realises the situation that he's put himself in, but he says he'd have no regrets because what he's fighting for is more important than a job.
Says the guy that thinks that "Redskins" is still an appropriate name for a football team.Wha wha wha the guy didn’t get the job he wanted now he cries racism
Get over it man
Flores was not talking with GM Chris Grier (also black) either. Ross got them together after the last game to try to smooth things out. Flores comment to the both of them was 'What do you two know about winning?'This guy has been using a scorched earth policy for a while now. After the trade for Watson did not happen he decided to sulk. There's reports that he did not speak to any of the coaching staff after Thxgiving. The owner had no choice but to fire a noncommunicative coach.
Belichick's coaching tree is not impressive at all
I think Flores has enough money in the bank that he will not worry about it.![]()
