Is it just me or are her 15 minutes of fame up? Her reality show was a bomb. No one seems to care about her new baby. No one likes her boyfriend/suitcase pimp. Instead of a crash and burn, we seem to be getting a fading away into obscurity...

dammit, I thought this was going to be a thread about her marriage being over, and she'd be up for grabs again. Do you think she'd do a girl? (as long as she keeps her makeup on, that is!) lol
It's bizarre that someone whose only talent seems to be lip-syncing to her own very electronically processed voice has been extremely famous for several years now, not just 15 minutes. You could find dozens of girls at your local mall who are just as talented and attractive.
For someone with apparently no talent and not that attractive... at least according to some of you... Britney has more money than you will ever have... and she'll never have to work another day in her life if she doesn't want to. At least give her some credit for getting off her ass and making the most out of her opportunities.
I don't why ppl make such a big fuss about Britney. I was watching her on the Ellen Degeneres show and she was mentioning how she proposed to her husband and about his hesistation to get married to her. She is just another average talentless person who made it big because of stupid people who bought her albums and went ga ga over her music videos.
Anyone else find celebrities are twice as attractive as "regular" girls just because they are celebrities? I think it is like some kind of fetish.

Nope... too friggin' old to be a "fan". Everyone likes to crap on her and I just think she should get some credit for what she's done... even if we disagree with some of those decisions. Ashlee Simpson, Jessica Simpson, the Osbourne girl, Justin Timberlake
and damn, the most unlikely, most unbelievable, most undeserved person to ever become popular was Ciara!! I mean, DAMN! for crying out loud, her song One Step, Two Step as gotten to be the most retarded song in music history. How could that song ever become one of the top ten? I'll never be able to figure out. Just listening to it makes me want to climb up the walls and go do psychopathic stuff to music industry producers.
And just watching her dim-witted music video and dance composition (both of which must've been composed in of all of an entire minute) of her trying to introduce such lame dance moves into the mainstream trend makes me want to run up against a wall really hard, just to knock myself unconscious. For crying out loud, I've never seen such diminished talent and intelligence in a person before, that I have seen in Ciara, her thinking her extremely lame "one-step-two step" dance move would actually be even remotely impressive....
The guys that DID actually have very nice talent in their music compositions, song lyrics and impressive song performances were 2 cents (Candyshop & Would you still love me) Christina Aquilera (Fighter, Beautiful, Genie in a bottle and countless others...) Avril Lavigne, Soul Decision, Green Day (My life on Holiday), Eminem...

But why do so many people (over the age of 14) keep buying the music? Do you choose to keep buying a product or service you don't like over another better one you do like, just because it gets more advertising?
A good-looking woman on TV will get your attention for a minute or two, but will you keep watching or listening if she's not doing anything entertaining or interesting? I think Kristin Davis is hot, but you would have to pay me to watch that irritating Sex And The City show she was on, and I would not buy her music if she tried to sing.

Obviously a lot of people like the sound of her songs. You don't need to have a great voice or outstanding musical abilities to be able to sing a song that a lot of people want to hear. I would say the success of a song is more about the song than the person singing it unless it is an extremely hard song to perform or the person singing the song has exceptional talent making an otherwise average song for most people a great one.
