Any suggestions or recommendations on
a reliable treadmill for under $2,000.00?

Considerations include:

Motor size
RPM
Large running surface,
Quiet
Easy to read controls
Decent customer support from manufacturer
Wireless Heart Monitor

Thanks for any advice!

I would try treadmillfactory.ca. You can even rent a model for a few months and try it out before you buy one to make sure it's the one you want.

Thanks Miss Ashton..
I was there and no one mentioned anything about rentals.

That may be the route to go ...

Once I lose a few pounds I would love to meet you!!

Thanks again and have a great day!

Don't buy a treadmill. Trust me, you will get bored and find it difficult to stick to your exercise routine. It's much better to go for a run outdoors in the fresh air, see some sights, and it's $2,000 cheaper.

Precor has recently come down in price to around your price range. I've had my elliptical for two years and I use it regularly, through rain, snow sleet because it's indoors.

What about the LifeFitness model treadmills you see at many of the gyms?

How much do those go for and are they only available for gyms to purchase?

Precor has nice dependable equipment, not the prettiest, but very well made, and affordable.
