I need to register a domain. For the .com, I have decided to go with godaddy or network solutions. For the .ca, I am not able to decide. I have been looking at three names.

1) webnames.ca
2) domainsatcost.ca
3) namespro.ca (also gives free email box)

Any suggestions. I prefer somebody like domainsatcost because my .com only will be the main site. .ca will just be registered.

I need suggestions for .ca only.

Thanks.

Well those companies you listed are just third party companies that go through CIRA.ca. CIRA is the Network Solutions of Canada. The main web domain registrar, everyone else goes through them. (If I'm not mistaken)

If you just want to register the domain then go through CIRA because if the company you register with goes bust it can be a pain to move it. (I speak from experience) You might as well get used to CIRA now rather than later when you need to move it.

If you want hosting and to register at the same time then I'm not sure. I have my hosting with Telus. (but I wouldn't recomend them)

Thanks guys for the reply. The only reason I have been looking at cheaper resellers is because the .com will be my main site. The .ca will just be a forwarding site.

Another advantage of going through Internic is they give away free domains from time to time. Say you register Splurge.ca, they might throw in Splurge.biz, & Splurge.info for free depending how long you've been with them.
