Can you put a Ad blocker on Iphone 10?

I use safari but thinking maybe I can put chrome on it and then install Ublock origins that is great. When I use Safari to look up a news site I get lots of ads, is there a way to stop this? I clicked on the one apple has for the iphone but I keep getting ads, I barely use the phone to browse. But I hate getting ads.
