Canada customs strike

Supposedly customs are on strike. I got 2 packages being held in limbo.
I wanna know if they are just delaying packages, or if they are stopping them from coming through altogether.

Anyone else currently having their packages delayed at customs??

CBSA isn't on strike, but there was a report the other day that PSAC would take their pickets to border crossings.

Could the possible PSAC strike affect Canadian border crossings?

According to The Star many administrative workers within Canada Border Services Agency are currently off the job.

Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA)

It is expected that CBSA services to travelers and businesses will be maintained. While uniformed staff will not be affected, CBSA administrative staff are on strike. Due to this, clearance of cargo at all Canadian land border crossings could be impacted. Importers, exporters, and customs brokers should expect potential delays.

I have a package stuck in customs for a couple of weeks. I guess that explains.

The reason packages are delayed at the Mississauga facility, where I imagine your packages are, is due to renovations being done. Packages flagged for secondary review have about a 3-6 week backlog at the moment. Mine took about 4 weeks

I have one package stuck in Mississauga, but the other one is stuck in Montreal
