Pretty cool, just as I remember it as a kid.
That stand up Rollercoaster is probably why I have spine issues today 😆

Vaughan is garbage now and from what I've been reading, Wonderland is a cesspool too, so sad.
especially in the warm weather months, the roads are clogged with traffic interspersed with construction that slows it all to a stand still. Airtime Rollercoaster Club still rates Canada's Wonderland highly, the best show i saw at Kingswood was Iron Maiden Powerslave Tour.

I remember going to Wonderland before it opened. My oldest sister somehow got special tickets. She was in the marketing business.
Probably around 1980. I took a friend.

Was there recently, too many jail baits.
You're complaining that there's too many kids at an amusement park? If you're spending your time looking at kids, maybe amusement parks aren't the best place for you.

Two things from the opening years I liked. One was they would let you exit, eat a picnic lunch, and re-enter. The other was how small the crowds were during may/June weekdays.

It’s too bad the concert facility there, Kingswood, closed down. Saw quite a few good shows there. And your concert ticket got you free admission to the park.
I agree... saw The Talking Heads and Psychedelic Furs there in the '80s. Both very memorable experiences.

Whoa, that's not how I took whynot888's comment at all, there might be, for lack of better words, some projection going on here. lol

Wish I saw the Talking Heads. Saw Tom Petty there. Was not my idea. Not a huge Tom Petty fan but it was a good concert. He mentioned that his house was broken into.

So how did you interpret his comment that there are too many kids he might hit on at an amusement park?

That there are way too many young teens there and less adults. Back in the 90s it was definitely a solid mix of every age group, those days are gone.

Yep. My very first concert was there - Spoons in 1984. Could have sworn I saw New Order there as well, maybe it was Depeche Mode?
