I doubt it will make a shred of difference. The Liberals are pushing for removing one of their own -- a Liberal Party PM (Laurier) -- from the $5 note and replacing him with a completely apolitical cancer-research advocate who died while trying to raise money for cancer research.

It would look seriously bad for the Conservatives -- or any other party -- if they kicked up a fuss about that.

I have no reason to believe the Conservatives would cancel Terry Fox from being on the $5 bill. I was just wondering if an election were called, could that delay things as parliament would be dissolved.
