I saw a show awhile back on how that co-operation thing with Microsoft got started. Apparently some of the guys in the porno unit were musing that such a thing would be great but HOW. One of the cops took it upon himself to call Microsoft and ask. Seems obvious now but no one else thought of it. The powers that be at Microsoft were intrigued and thats how it got going.

How someone can do this to a young child, especially one's own daughter, just boggles my mind. Even if you have a sickness (pedophilia) you know what you're doing is wrong. The scary thing is that there are so many of these guys walking around, child porn is huge market on the internet. Then when they do get caught its a slap on the wrist, house arrest for many. These guys need to know that serious jailtime awaits them if they don't stop and get treatment for their illness.

The cop's name I believe is Det. Paul Gillespie. He retired from the force recently to start his own consulting business, teaching law enforcement agencies around the world how to catch these sicko's.
