Everyone is in a bind including the USA. The Ford F-150 is made with a huge amount of Canadian Aluminum. Its likely that Carney will tell Trump that he is forcing Canada into a deal with the Chinese and if the US persists we will have no other choice but to build our future auto sector around Chinese and Euro partners.

If dairy is what Trump really wants then we would have given in a long time ago. The only thing for sure Trump wants is a 51st state.

Qatar gives Trump a jet and declares a 1.2 trillion dollar investment into the US and they get a missile strike. South Korea declares a 350 billion dollar investment into the US and start to build plants and they get ICEed.

You can not negotiate with a random number generator.

Trump going to perp walk him again you watch.

I give Carney credit though...He's exceptional in front of a camera thus far.

He'll more than be able to hold his own I believe...Hopefully a deal can be reached.

Must be sarcasm I'm missing.

Carney can only answer media friendly questions and comes off cold and dismissive when asked tough ones.

Time is running out on him. The budget benchmark was set at -$68.5B, so he's scrambling to hit that number. He doesn't know what he's doing.

Not sarcasm..He's way better than I thought he would be so far.

His predecessor left a mess so yes scrambling is a good word.

Strongly disagree. He's made so many mistakes and is under delivering.

I'm just being nice right now, because I don't want to lay it on thick.

He was elected to fix the mess. Should have been scrambling in May.

Maybe he wasn't the best for the job? He's in a bind

I will give credit where credit is due... Carney will have the ability to make a deal...what he's trying to avoid is not to piss off his woke base...if he makes a deal with Trump...they will cry he's selling out.. if he doesn't they will be happy but still gets tariffs...enough of the 51st state narrative...Trump knows how to yank Justin Trudeaus balls and he yanked it good...now he's out...
