Hey everyone!

What is everyone’s favorite cash back credit card? One percent isn’t cutting it anymore. What cash back credit cards do you have in your wallet?

I tend to ignore the different 'cash back' offers.
Too often they max out on some low capped transaction value, after which cash back stops.
Or it keeps going, but you pay an annual high card renewal fee for the 'priviledge' of uncapped cash back.

We keep it simple. CTC Mastercard. Strive to buy all car gas at CTC gas bars.
Run most of the annual expenses of life we can though this card to spin CTC e-money.
Usually 35-40K a year.

Then we use the earned e-money at CTC stores for the stuff you use every day.
Toilet paper, kleenex, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish detergent, cleaning products, yard waste bags.

You can convert to American Airlines miles, and every August they offer a 25% conversion bonus.

Then, you can find really cheap International business class tickets.

Plus offers extended warranty, travel insurance, rental car insurance, trip protection, etc.

A good card for those who travel a lot.

For every day use the CTC card is best because it is no annual fee and it pays back in Canadian Tire money. I have the black World Elite card which includes free roadside assistance. A few years ago my car would not start and the car had to be transported back to the dealer on a flatbed. The manufacturer paid the cost because the car was under warranty. The cost was $500, it must be more now. I keep my cars for 5 years, so I am covered for the two years it is not on warranty. I also have the Black Presidents Choice World Elite card, also no fee. In Canada, everyone knows the President's Choice brand. When I use the Black World Elite Presidents Choice card in other countries people are really impressed by the name. I have gotten hotel and airline upgrades without asking. Sadly, the new PC cards no longer have the word President's Choice prominent. It just has big PC lettering on the card.

The only annual fee card I have is the Scotia Bank Visa Passport card. The annual fee is $150. The best perk is 6 airport lounge passes. You can arrive early and enjoy a leisurely time before your flight, with food, alcohol, internet and work station. If you have big gaps between connecting flights some lounges have private rest areas, showers that you can stay at for 4 hours.

I have the Scotia passport as well. Get no fee currency conversion. It's free with a minimum bank balance. I combine with Scene points to get lots of free movies and they have several other places to spend them as well.

I have a Costco Mastercard. Use it regularly and tend to accumulate about 500-700 bucks per year. Good shop every January to use it up.

Tangerine has one of the best in my opinion. And its freeeee.
2% cashback on any 3 categories you choose. Could be groceries, gas, restaurants, etc. .5% on everything else.

I like the Wealthsimple Visa cashback as well, but I needed a mastercard for costco.

If you have a cat the saving on the big box of litter alone from Costco pays for the yearly fee. I'm being serious.

But you absolutely need a freezer and pantry to go there.

Just tell them "I'm hornier than the guys! Besides I've got your sons, husbands and fathers waiting for me." :devilish: Then watch their jaws drop and hit the floor as you walk out. o_O
Or would that be a bit too much???

The Momentum Infinite card is good… 4% on groceries and recurring bill payments. I think gas is included as well. There’s also the Amex Cobalt which you can use as a de facto cashback card through statement credits and/or a travel card.

Tell them you're planning an orgy...lmao...and everyone is cumming!
When I was young, poor, and horny my girlfriend and I would go to the local health unit to get free condoms. We'd literally say just that to get a good bag of condoms. It's not like I wanted to go there bi-weekly, and, well, young and horny.

I had an Amex until they cancelled my card because I didn’t have the sufficient “Proof of income” It was a really good card I loved the metal makes it feel more premium 😊
