Because it's just a graph. Like all the graphs people have used to prove their point. There are also graphs showing a rise in non covid related excess deaths since the vaccine roll outs. More and more evidence is coming out that covid was overblown. The lockdowns did nothing to prevent the spread and the vaccines were weak and had dangerous side effects. In fact reports surfaced the the vaccines saved 20 million lives world wide. So then why did 6 billion people get forced to take them.
It's actually called evidence. The graph represents evidence. If you have evidence that has been systematically collected and peer reviewed I'd love you to show it and it will cause me to rethink my position.
I know how real science works, - I change my position as the data suggests.
Somebody saying "it's all bs" is not evidence.
Saying only fat smokers are dying still means it's killing one's countrymen and still counts, unless you want some people to die..
Moreover, these virus' mutate and the more people get infected the higher the likelihood the virus will mutate. On the average 6 times out of 7 they become less lethal, because if a virus kills too quick it runs out of hosts (people). But on 1 out of 7 it's gets more easily transmitted and/or more lethal.
This is all epidemiology 101.
Moreover, since my stint in doctoral level biology going back 30 years everyone then was worried about the next pandemic. It was all a matter of when, not if, we get another Spanish flu like the world got in 1918 (which killed a higher proportion of people, and people in their prime). (Thus my fury at the conspiracy people who made up shit at people who talked about it 10-15 years ago like "how did they know?" They knew because all of biology has been worried about a super flu for over 100 years).
Anyhow, forgive me for getting irked when I hear people describing biology in a way entirely wrong from everything I know. And it happened a lot this last go-round. (BTW, also in 1918. There were anti-maskers back then too. Read John Barry's book "The great influenza" and you'll see how in many ways the same bs happened 100+ years ago). Then lets talk again.
