Cell Phone Question

So my rogers pay as you go phone has bit the dust. I have another phone that is not in use anywhere, can I take it to rogers and get it activated to my pay as you go account or do I have to buy a new rogers phone?

put the sim card in any unlocked or rogers phone and you should be good to go.

The second phone isn't a rogers phone, it was on the bell system, won't work right?

You hafta get it unlocked before you can use it on the rogers system, it shouldn't cost that much.

a bell phone cat be used on the rogers system, they use different systems

rogers and fido can be used (when unlocked)

telus and bell (when they are unlocked)

This is true. To be more specific:

Rogers/Fido - operate on GSM (SIM card used)
Bell/Telus - Operate on TDMA (no SIM card)

*Bell and Telus DO have a few "world phones" (Blackberries" that operate on GSM - with a SIM card
