Reuters – Mon Mar 21, 7:53 pm ET

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Charlie Sheen may be out of a job, for now. But according to reports swirling on Monday the actor may be back on television sooner rather than later.

NBC News quoted sources close to Sheen as saying that CBS had offered the actor back his job on the hit comedy "Two and A Half Men", but no deal had been struck and discussions were ongoing.

Elsewhere, The Hollywood Reporter said Sheen met with senior executives at rival network Fox last week for talks. The actor sent a cryptic Tweet over the weekend reading "perhaps a new lair...? A Fox and a Warlock? epic" accompanied by a picture of a Fox television logo.... [more]

CBS can't afford to lose the Fool who's getting more popular than before. His tours are sold out in every city including Toronto. It's all about money to them.

Can you imagine if all this and the "Tiger Jeet Sheen Tour " was all stage just to get the ratings and popularity of the show to new hieghts. Were those people real cops or actors, can you inmagine the $$$$ advertiser would pay to get on board the hottesr show ever? Isn't it funny that Sheen is now talking to Fox about the show, eventho WB might have a say in this, all the while trying to kiss and make up with the same people that he so viciously attack on every media known to man kind.

I seriously would not put it past WBs execs ( chuck Lorre and others ).
Has any media tried to get a hold of John Cryer ( just found work )or Conchata Ferrell and get there take on the Tiger Jeet Sheen Tour?
I'm just saying that I wouldn' put it past Hollywood.
No I'm not on drugs ( dam ) and no I'm not from pluto lol

CBS already sold the show for next season and bottom line will loose hundreds of millions in advertising revenue. They kept Charlie through wife battering, drug rehabs and no shows when binge partying. I was a fan of the show but it has jumped the shark with the kid grown up, Charlie looking very old and the plots/writing getting very stale. Charlie could easily be replaced by Rob Lowe surrounded by the same comic actors (could loose the kid) as I believe it was John Cryer who is most important to the show. Killing the show could be the most humane thing to do at this point but I'm sure the money will win out.

I don't know why there is such a fascination to watch an actor crash and burn his career - but I have no desire pay to watch. After seeing Charlie present himself as a 'winner' whose every word of is golden wisdom to be absorbed by the ignorant masses, I wondered what losers would actually pay money to see his show. That it sold out does prove that P.T. Barnum's contention that there are suckers born every minute.

BTW: The popular belief that Charlie is increasing his worth by this erratic behavior should look at Chris Farley, Jan-Michael Vincent, Robert Downey Jr, etc. These actors were unable to get movies, TV because insurance companies were unwilling to provide coverage (their personal problems created a real possibility that the film would over run production costs or not finish at all). Robert Downey Jr was not quite as bad as Charlie but had to complete a rehab program and earn back confidence.

Money talks, there is too much money on the line not to have him back. Christ, they would invade a small country for that money.

I'm on the same page in everything you said, especially the bold comment about Cryer being the key to the show, there is a reason why he's the only actor on the show that ever won an emmy as supporting actor, although others have had several nominations.

btw, krayjee Toronto is not sold out, if you're interested you can get $750 tickets, enjoy the show.

Holy sh*t ! I thought it was $50 ! If someone was a true follower of Charlie Sheen, they skip the show and use the money to rent a hotel room with three hookers instead.

What does he have to say that would be worth paying any amount? Sheen was on record as saying he never missed a day because of parting.....however he did state that he had to " lean " on a few props while taping

Letterman was joking about this last night. Saying he heard FAUX was offering Charlie a 'talk show' on FAUX, to run against him in the same time slot as Letterman's show....

If an episode of Two and a Half Men does air that has Charlie returning, it will probably be one of the most-watched shows of all time.

I would watch it, and I rarely watch this show.

Obviously you haven't read every paper or watched every news, not to mention checking on the internet, like the Massey Hall box office, lol......., here you go, you're in luck you can now buy best seats available at $607 per ticket plus taxes, admin and delivery charge located at Left Centre Floor seats, row F. Lots more seats available all over the floor and in the balcony. Let us know how you liked the show.

It would be popular. Charlie sheen represents the unapologetic non-politically correct celebrity. He even survived the Anti-antisemitism accusations. Not many have ever survived that.

He survived the antisemitism accusations by announcing (for the first time and rather opportunistically) he is in fact Jewish because his mother is Jewish. Jewishness passes from mother to child (not from father to child) under Jewish law (halakha). Since Jews are allowed to insult other Jews without antisemitism coming into it, that put down his detractors.

The fact that he is nuts is another issue lol

Oh, and since his ex-wife Brooke Mueller's mother is Jewish, under Jewish law Brooke is Jewish and thus his two sons he had with her are Jewish as well.

Martin Sheen, Charlie's father, btw is not Jewish as his mother was Irish/Catholic. Technically this makes Charlie half Jewish, but since Jewish law recognizes Jewishness as coming 100% from the mother (and not from the father), since his mother is Jewish, he is Jewish.
