All this hype and advertising on the Chevy (Daewoo designed) Cruze, and I've only seen 2 on the road...1 about 3 weeks ago, and 1 today. Overblown? A friend's cousin has one and he says they are gutless (no power).

I've seen a couple on the road and like the look...much better than the Cobalt. Went to GM/Chrevrolet website and priced them out. Full loaded about $28,000 MRSP. Not exactly a cheap ride. When I have a minute, I may drop in to a GM dealership and have a closer look.
MRSP is a highly inflated joke down here.
For the last month Chevy has run TV ads here saying with $3000 down you can buy a Cruze for < $10,000.
