I fail to see where in the article it states that the PRC is selling U.S. Treasury Bonds, rather it indicates that the PRC is purchasing U.S. Treasury Bonds at a slower rate than it is retiring them as they pay off.

Perhaps the same point in the macro sense, but an important distinction in the micro sense.

In fact they may be spending the money on their own stimulus projects instead of saving it in the forms of US Bonds.....

Poor bastards, stuck with all these $US. They have been trying to buy
commodities forward and commodity companies for a while now.

It is a game of musical chairs. When the music stops, who is going to
hold the $US?

I rather doubt they will be like Tsarist railway bonds. I wouldn't put my money into gold bullion bars quite yet.

If they sell their dollars, what are they going to buy?

The wise put 10-20% of their money into gold, and hope that it does not
increase in value.

They have been busy buying commodities and commodity companies
for a while now, and most of Australia.

When the PRC finishes buying Australia, can California be far behind?Actually, the PRC is buying a chunk of Africa as well. The Africans prefer dealing with the PRC because they don't have all this "human rights" baggage.

Can't argue with that, I'd buy Australia if I could.... did they buy the tar sands in the GWN?

Why go for the tar sands when Iran is so much closer and more friendly for their purposes.

Those Iranian Islamic thugs are taking lessons from the PRC are how to deal with peaceful democracy demonstrators.
