Isn't that Ottawa already sold most of our gold reserves? What
influence China can exert on us taking over a resource we are not
interested in other than making a profit from mining it?

Central banks of Canada, the UK and the U.S. don't value
gold as the ultimate money essential for the nation's fiscal
health. Chinese wants our gold resources not because
they want to influence us but because they have the wisdom to
appreciate the value of gold in an age of global debasement
of fiat currencies.

If you are still in denial of China's influence, here you go.

What a country. We block our companies from mining minerals and resources, but allow foreign countries filled with corruption to take over.

Remember when they tried to takeover Aecon. I can see a lot of chinese state companies coming into canada if carney gets into power to build these pre fab homes
