Been on TERB for a while now. Really enjoy it. I've noticed a few things.

1. A lot of members (largely USA) really want to have guns. They don't get the point that YOU DON'T WANT to have a gun. Right over those heads.

2. A lot of guys have no idea how to get laid. They think paying for it is the only option: Sad. Sad. Sad. Hobbying is a GREAT option. Not the only one. I love the option.

3. Racism is big on TERB. BIG. Really Big. Fine. If you think being "white" is superior to any other race, say so. Don't be a coward. This is an anonymous board.

4. There are a lot of music/food/travel threads here. Most enjoyable! Who else enjoy these?

All those movies make a lot of people bloodthirsty. From westerns on gun violence has been a box office draw. The Great Train Robbery was one of the first moving pictures ever and Hollywood is a textbook case for the big influence media has on culture.



2. A lot of guys guys have no idea how to get laid. They think paying for it is the only option: Sad. Sad. Sad. Hobbying is a GREAT option. Not the only one. I love the option.

I'd think rather most Terbites just see it as the best option. Unless you are particularly gifted at one or inept at the other, getting money is easier than getting women. And, of course, fewer strings.

Racism is rooted in fear and cowardice. Bigots think it's much more clever to use coded speech AKA "do whistle" Rush "El Rushmo" Limbaugh was a total master at this, Tucker Carlson an apt protege.

Oh, yeah, especially relating to food or destinations, and I've seen numerous videos I have never seen of songs I haven't heard in ages. Also new sounds like Tuba Skinny...

Toronto is a white minority city, even more so in Markham, Brampton and Mississauga. I would not be surprised if this Board is also white minority. I would also not be surprised if whites are the minority of MP and SP agency clients.

Just read in The Times Of Israel that Christmas is becoming huge in cities in Israel such as Tel Aviv, where a very large number of Jews formerly from the Soviet Union have immigrated.

Those immigrants were largely secular, often celebrated Christmas in the Soviet Union, and continue to do so in Israel. There were photos of the Christmas decorations departments in large Tel Aviv department stores, and many children there call it their favorite holiday.

While Bethlehem is pretty much out-of-bounds for Israelis, many go to Nazareth to celebrate as well.

Not as popular amongst the Jews in Jerusalem...

There have been studies that it is genetically rooted. That 1000's of years ago when tribes were migratory they would carry their own diseases from regions to new ones without immunities. This resulted in a genetic predisposition to fearing those of other tribes and those not like themselves.

From there it became cultural.

Racism is fear of the other. Thats it root. Its a theory. It doesn't make it an absolute fact. But considering how powerful the procreation urge is and how it permeates our everyday life even today(right after a natural disaster there is a spike in births as an example) why not this as well?

If it is even partly rooted in survival instinct then its proliferation makes sense.

Obviously you didn't read or comprehend my entire post. I stated the theory proposed is not fact. But suggests a genetic basis to racism tied to the survival instinct to prevent diseases from spreading to different people due to early migration of tribes.

Thats it. It doesn't suggest one human being above or below another. It doesn't state only certain tribes did. It could just as easily have been a Celtic Tribe and mainland Euro tribe. What matters is that its based in survival instinct.

Which also lends itself to why in bad economic times, times of war, famine, pandemic why humans become more prone to racism, fascism, and other types of "other" fear and hatred. And why as you now live in a happy, stable multicultural society you are free to not be.

And whether that would hold under far worse circumstances.
