Hi, I am a frequent visitor from the States, and have really enjoyed Toronto and the ladies. I also am addicted to Cuban cigars, particularly Monte Christo #2 and Punch Presidente (Maduro). I have found several cigar bars and cigar friendly restaurants, but I was wondering if there is a favorite hang-out for people who enjoy cigars (and Brandy / Cognac/Single-Malt ) on a regular basis and like to just sit around, watch sports, or talk about manly things. I have visited Cafe Tabac on Bay downtown, but it mostly just had women there on their lunch breaks smoking (ahggg!) CIGARETTES! Thanks a lot for any help. I will be back in town June 18-20.
Thanks!

Winston

Hmm ... another Winston on the board eh?

I know that The Big Easy in the clubc district used to serve Monte Cristo's (at predictably inflated prices). Other places I've heard of include the Windsor Arms Hotel (http://www.worldsbestbars.com/city/Toronto/Club22.asp) and N'awlins Jazz bar on King Street (http://www.nawlins.ca/home.html). Hy's Steakhouse on Richmond Street (in the financial district) is also cigar tolerant in the bar area.

My impression (I'm a non-smoker) is that cigars are more of a night-time activity in Toronto than a lunch-time endeavour.
