Wouldn't a lawyer have someone else deliver the papers for him. I know when I got my divorce every single paper was delivered from my lawyer. I always thought they no matter what the issue was would tell you not to go and do the dirty work yourself.

The only point in not having the paperwork delivered was the fact he apparently dickie dipped one last serving.

Yeah but it still seems strange to me. I myself would not believe any papers were legit unless it came straight from the lawyers office. Plus, he stated that he did not want her harassing him any further to the lawyer so would it not be standard procedure in that case that the lawyer would have the papers then drawn up and then served to her from himself? The wouldn't it state if you procede in this manner further action will be taken.

Yeah, utter BS...

If you are going to all that trouble you let her insist on the DNA testing (all her expense that way as well) if what you really want is a good "gotcha" There are other behaviors and supposed motives in this complete fairy tale that don't wash. It doesn't even make especially good fiction

it's an urban myth people...just like the story about the guy who caught his fiance cheating and on the day of the wedding told all the guests to look under the seats to find pictures.
