I've always had an interest in computer animation. Wanted to get into it. the question is, do you have to be good at art and be able to sketch out anything?
Get blender for free at blender3d.org. It's in the same league as 3DS, Maya, Lightwave, Caligari, but it's free! So you don't have to worry about where to find a stolen copy and all that crap. You'll probably have to take a course though, it will blow you away all the things you can do!
