I'm looking for 5-15 people who want to get a new computer before Christmas. Then when could pool our resources and get a good deal with hardware and a lot of pre-installed software. I'd even consider going with Linux.
good idea but a purchase of 5 to 15 computers would still be at the retail level since it would be hard to approach a manufacturer directly with that quantity. In the GTA most computer retailers work on a gross margin of only 8%-10%, so any savings might not be significant.
