So Sony Pictures is doing some major editing to make this film more family friendly, and , more importantly, to remove material that could give the NFL hostile attention. The film stars Will "I am a total legend" Smith as Dr, Bennet Omalu. Essentially the restructured film will allow to bask in his all conquering glory as his own vehicle. Meanwhile Adewale Agbaje (Dave Duerson) and David Morse (Mike Webster) work gets left on the cutting room floor. Now it looks like Roger Goodell as a character will be removed from the film.

I have a hunch that the NFLPA will issue a boycott. With so many retired football players dying before their time, why whitewash a problem that the NFL is unwilling to address?

Funny to read how Sony Pictures didn't cave in under pressure from the NFL and re edited the film to make it more of a "human story" as they put it. They turned the film into a snow job so they wouldn't get sued by the NFL or jeopardize any future business ventures with the league. Wouldn't waste my time or money on a piece of shit like this.

It's coming out at Christmas, if so it will stink bomb. It should have been aborted, Will Smith may be the center of the universe, but this type of vehicle he doesn't need.

Fortunately the film options during the holiday season are varied. Including this new Jessica Chastain film!

Do you guys not believe the science behind CTE or just think the movie will suck? I'm sure the NFL isn't happy about any negative publicity the movie may generate. After all, they own a day of the week.
