It was taped this fall (in Black's Florida hideout). Mercer does his show weekly to keep up with current affairs.

Did anyone besides me watch Conrad Black last night...

on the Rick Mercer Show..He basically showed us how to wax a maple leaf and also he promoted a couple of his books.I trust they did not pay him...I liked the jacket he was wearing and he actually did not wear a tie...LOL..

Since Rick Mercer is openly gay I will be watching the show for one reason.

"Rick Mercer on Conrad Black" should make interesting television history.

In the first couple of seasons, i thought the Mercer Report was as funny as anything on TV. Perhaps I have more trouble laughing at our politics these days.

Rick Mercer is still prepared to go the extra mile. Any one see him chomp down a live cricket at the Vancouver auquarium?

I thought the Conrad Black segment was mildly funny. For a pompous arrogant crook, at least he is able to make light of his poor fortune. Not quite up to par with Richard Burton's lesson on rolling joints though.

I still find 'the Rant' is worth the price of admission for the show.
