i want to do a complete wipe of all the cookies on my computer.

everytime i use a program to clean the cookies. there's always some cookies left behind. its evident when the passwords and access names still show up in some of the webpages.

how do you wipe out every last cookie on your computer? every single last one? is it possible?

most sites use cookies to keep track of you.

If access names and passwords are "showing up" when you visit certain web pages, that's not evidence that any cookies are being left behind. (IF you were still "logged in", then THAT would suggest cookies are still around.) But your browser will recognize websites that you've logged into before, and keep track of your userid and password within the browser, not in a cookie. That information you need to clear out separately.

If you share what browser (and version) you're using, we can suggest ways to clear out that information as well.

In the future, you may want to consider using Chrome as your browser, and launch an "Incognito Window" for browsing you'd prefer to keep private.

most browsers have some sort of cookie "control" But this program is designed specifically for the job and the browser has to be closed while running the cleaner. I don't know how well the browers handle cache and the like. Try it it's free if you don't like it uninstall it. It also has something to clean up your registry too which is a neat feature.
